The History of Pornography

This film presents a historical sampling of erotica, beginning with cave drawings and emphasizing 20^th century material. Contains samples of films from each decade beginning with the turn-of-the-century through the present day. Explores the evolution of pornographic films from crude, black and white silent films through "talkies," the addition of color, and the X-rated home video.
